Fritz Auweck is Landscapearchitect and Urban planner. He is member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects, and of the German Academy for Urban and Regional Spatial Planning. He is chairman for international affairs of bdla (German Association of Landscape Architects). Fritz Auweck was from 1985 to 2013 Professor for Landscape- and Regional Development at the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf. Since 1991 he is active in his private company which is now part of the european Grontmij group, in which he is consultant for the Munich office. His main focus and also subjects of research are cross community development, landuse planning, village renewal and public participation. Since 1996 he is active in IFLA Europe, former EFLA, as Vicepresident Education, as President, and as bdla Delegate.
