Urszula Forczek-Brataniec

Doctor of Science – Architecture and Urban Design, speciality: Landscape Architecture.

Lecturer in the Landscape Architecture Institute of the Faculty of Architecture, at the Cracow University of Technology.

Member of the scientific council of the Pieniny National Park, board member of the Polish Landscape Architecture Association SAK, board member of LAE. In terms of design practice she is a partner in the eM4 Brataniec Architecture Studio.

Her main specialization is research, theory and practice of visibility studies and analysis in architectural up to planning scales. She is an author of many expertises, analyses and publications, among others the book View from the road; Landscape in dynamic perception. As a partner in the eM4 Architecture Studio she is the co-author of projects that have been nominated, awarded, exhibited and published both domestically and abroad.

She has been the IFLA delegate of SAK for 5 years. The main project she has worked on and implemented as an international cooperation under the auspices of IFLA Europe supported by the Visegrad Fund was the exhibition of the Contemporary Landscape Architecture in Visegrad Countries CLAV4 developed twice in 2013 and 2015.
