Landscape Triennial 2017 – The Next Landscape – Confrontations in Metropolitan Landscape, 8 September, 2017

Landscape Triennial 2017 – The Next Landscape

The theme of the Landscape Triennial 2017 is The Next Landscape. What will define the landscape of the future? What will our everyday surroundings look like in the coming decades? Who will take care of it? What are the driving forces behind the changes in our landscape? Who will create it? Together we will find out.

Please join in and help our thought process!

The 2017 Landscape Triennial program is centered around 4 program segments:

  • The Next Landscape as our daily living environment
  • The Next Landscape as an innovative breeding ground
  • The Next Landscape as a determining factor for relocating to the metropolis
  • The Next Landscape as a spatial design assignment

Confrontations in the Metropolitan Landscape – Friday September 8 2017

The Deltametropolis Association invites strategic policy makers, research professionals and landscape design practitioners to join the international discussion on metropolitan landscape planning.

The day prior to the symposium, the municipality of Amsterdam is organising a meeting (by invitation) with the Eurocities and Metrex networks, on the same topic of metropolitan landscape planning. The results from this meeting will be presented within the symposium program and we welcome the Eurocities and Metrex attendees to contribute to the workshops within the symposium program.
