The main activity of the ULAB/SLA is:

1. Organises events and informs the public about the creative achievements of the SLA members in the field of landscape architecture;
2. Advises, develops and expresses expert opinions in the field of landscape architecture;
3. Organises and conducts competitions in the field of landscape architecture and awards outstanding projects and realizations;
4.Organise discussions on issues of importance for the community and the SLA members of the landscape architecture and its regulations;
5. Document and preserve the monuments of garden and landscape art;
6. Assists in the development of education in landscape architecture.
