7th edition ‘Cine en el Jardin’
During the month of October, every Thursday at the Royal
Botanical Garden in Madrid, the seventh edition of the Cinema in the Garden cycle will take place. Garden cycle will take place.
The season ‘Cine en el Jardín’ reaches its VII edition. Organized by the Royal Botanical Gardens (RJB) of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Spanish Landscape Association (AEP), this series seeks, on the one hand, to value conservation and respect for our natural environment, and, on the other, to highlight the important role that landscaping plays in the development of plant biodiversity.
Cinema, thanks to its universal visual language and the global reach it achieves, is a fundamental tool for generating knowledge, raising awareness and promoting an active attitude in that goal of conserving and preserving our nature promoted by this project coordinated by Manuel Sánchez (AEP), Cruz Calleja and Jesús García-Rodrigo (RJB-CSIC).
