The annual scientific landscape architectural conference “Landscape. Technology. Art. will be held on 21.04.2023. in Jelgava, Latvia.
This year conference “Landscape. Technology. Art.” will be dedicated to 10th anniversary ofthe scientific journal “Landscape Architecture and Art”, but also as each year will look at important topics in scientific and practical field of landscape architecture.
Since 2012, the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (the only university in Latvia where you can study landscape architecture), in cooperation with the Riga Technical University and the Latvian Academy of Arts, started publishing a new, periodical scientific journal Landscape Architecture and Art (ISSN 2255-8632 print, ISSN 2255-8640 online). The topics of the articles cover architectural and artistic problems, preservation and development of architectural history and cultural heritage, ecological and sociological factors of the urban and rural cultural landscape, which are related to the search for the synthesis of art, architecture and landscape in the creation of human environmental quality. Thanks to the expanded international cooperation, an insight into the results of the work of foreign colleagues, especially researchers of architecture and art sciences from the Baltic region, is also provided. During 10 years, the scientific publication has gained high popularity among Latvian and foreign scientists, reaching the Q1 index.
