APAP - Associação Portuguesa dos Arquitectos Paisagistas marks European Landscape Day!
APAP - Associação Portuguesa dos Arquitectos Paisagistas marks International Landscape Day - very important day for our profession.
On this occasion APAP launched a programme ‘Ser Arquitect@ Paisagista’ aimed to raise awareness about the profession of Landscape Architecture, for students of 2nd and 3rd cycle schools, through presentations adapted to different educational objectives.
In this way, APAP asks for the collaboration of colleagues across the country to contact one (or several) schools (that of your children, that of your childhood, or any other in your area or that interests you), and go to introduce students - and potential landscape architects - what is Ser Arquitect @ Paisagista! This initiative aims to ‘divide to conquer’ to try to reach all locations in Portugal!
APAP created 1hr presentations in a very simple format, in order to facilitate the involvement of professionals, without having to spend a lot of time preparing and organizing. APAP offers three presentations in PowerPoint format for 5th and 6th years; 7th, 8th and 9th years; and for 10th, 11th and 12th years. The bases are done, but we encourage colleagues and modify them to taste! We also prepared a supporting document in Word format, with more detailed information about what appears in the presentation. We really want to make it as easy as possible !!
We hope to count on your help in this initiative. The diffusion and dissemination of Landscape Architecture is of the utmost importance for the profession and for its professionals. Once again, TOGETHER WE CAN DO MORE!
