CAKA Czech National Association of Landscape Architects organises conference on International Landscape Day
DAYS OF THE CONFERENCE OF THE COUNTRY
On the occasion of the International Day of Landscapes of the Council of Europe, we are holding a conference focused on a comprehensive approach to open and inhabited landscapes as an important tool for improving the environment for humans and nature, which is also one of the important tools of adaptation to climate change. The conference will summarize the role of landscape architect in landscape planning and management processes.
The country faces many problems and challenges. Many of them have a direct connection with increasing climate change and the urgent need to respond to it as effectively as possible. Part of the problems are caused by the growing demands for land exploitation and the unconceived approach to fulfilling them. It concerns the development of built-up area, technical and transport infrastructure, agriculture, water management as well as recreational and residential functions of the landscape Protection
