CTLA Youth Student Design and Application Competition successfully completed
The 2nd PMOGenç-Student Member Unit of UCTEA Chamber of Landscape Architects (CTLAYouth) Student Design and Application Competition, which was organized in
cooperation with PSB Fair Organization to combine design and practice, was held in Sapanca/SAKARYA between 6-9 September 2022. 108 student members from 18 Turkish universities participated in the competition.
This year; In the competition, which was held with the theme of xeric landscape in order to draw attention to water scarcity, climate crisis and efficient use of water, each team was provided with equal amounts of hard and soft landscape materials, and it was aimed to comprehend the transforming landscape understanding of our age, as well as design and practice in education.
The Award Ceremony for the youth competition was held at the Gala Dinner organized by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality. The awards to the winning teams and also certificates to all participants of the 2nd CTLAYouth Student Design and Application Competition were presented by Yasin OTUZOĞLU-Chairman of the Board of Directors of UCTEA CTLA, Barış IŞIK-Vice President of the Board of Directors of UCTEA CTLA and Ekrem YÜCE- Mayor of Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality.
