DKAS Slovenia celebrates International Landscape Day 20 October
The 30th anniversary of the Association of Landscape Architects was celebrated with the KA Festival and the awarding of social awards and recognitions. On International Landscape Day, October 20, at an event in Switzerland in Ljubljana’s Tivoli, we awarded a lifetime achievement award, two recognitions for activity in the profession and
recognition for special achievements.
Jože Novak received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Ana Kučan and Radovan Romih received awards for activity in the profession, and recognition for special achievements was awarded to the project and implementation of the arrangement of Slovenska ulica, Trg zmage and Luther’s Avenue in Murska Sobota by Matej Blenkuš, Darje Matjašec, Nejc Florjanac, Primož Žitnik, Dominik Košak and Greg Valenčič.
