InnoLAND: Impact of Sustainability Development Goals and EU Policies on Landscape Architecture Profession and Education
On February 26, 2021 more than forty landscape architects and planners participated in the second online meeting on the development of a common training framework. The groups consisted of the delegates of IFLA Europe, ECLAS school contact persons and international colleagues from 21 EU countries and 4 non-EU countries. Gintaras Stauskis, co-ordinator of the InnoLAND project, welcomed all and Jeroen de Vries (LE:NOTRE Institute) moderated the session. Ellen Fetzer (ECLAS president) presented the consequences of the Sustainable Development Goals and Roxana Triboi (LE:NOTRE Institute) gave an overview of the European Policies related to landscape.
Inspired by their words, the participants worked together on two MURAL boards to share their ideas on relevant competences for landscape architecture. The next step in the collaborative process will be a survey on the competences. The results of the survey and the first outline of the Common Training Framework for LA will be discussed on Friday the 16th of April 2021 starting from 10 am CET.
