Lala.ruhr – the first biennal of urban landscape opens call for contribution

lala.ruhr is a landscape laboratory of the Ruhr Metropolis. It takes place 10 – 24 September 2022 in Gelsenkirchen/Germany. The open call for programme contributions and topics can be made until 16 june 2022 here…

It is the main objective for lala.ruhr as think-tank and format for creativity/open exchange concerning the development of sustainable solutions for the urban metropolitan area. lala.ruhr wants to generate a platform for stakeholders and professionals to create a regional laboratory space and an international framework for the most important future topic in the Ruhr region: the transformation of the urban landscape. In congresses, exhibitions, workshops, expeditions, international and regional cooperation and in real-laboratories, future topics are discussed, developed, tested and made tangible. Until the year of IGA2027 and beyond, the excellence of the projects and competences existing in the region will be presented and further elaborated in an international and local discourse. As an international biennial of the landscape, it is a unique format on the current future topics of urbanisation.
