ReCrAFting Cities. Arts and culture for sustainable urban spaces - Wednesday, 6 December 2023 from 14:00 to 17:00 CET.

Started in 2022, Creating Actionable Futures (CrAFt) is a movement funded by the Horizon Europe programme of the European Commission to place the transition to climate-neutrality at the heart of urban stakeholders. CrAFt bridges the EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities and the New European Bauhaus.

In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, CrAFT envisions a future where arts and culture are catalysts for a profound transformation of our cities towards climate neutrality. We are therefore committed to fostering collaboration and co-creation among cities, citizens, policymakers, artists and cultural operators.

Recrafting Cities is a 3-hour online session bringing together city and cultural representatives to exchange experiences around the contribution of arts and culture towards inclusive, creative and sustainable urban spaces.

Through riveting keynotes, inspiring case studies, and engaging participant interactions, ReCrAFting Cities embarks on a journey to explore the intersection of culture, environmental sustainability and livable neighbourhoods.
