Romanian Landscape Architects Association AsoP 2021 Conference “Trees here and now” on 8-9 December 2021!

The Romanian Landscape Architects Association - AsoP is organising, on 8 and 9 December 2021, online (via Zoom) its fourth annual meeting in collaboration with

the IFLA Europe - International Federation of Landscape Architects – European Region and the ARA - Romanian Arboriculture Association, with the support of ULR -
Urban Landscapes Romania and ENEL ENEL & E-Distributie Companies.

Following the central theme of the IFLA Europe 2021 General Assembly and AEP Spain International Congress - Landscape Here and Now, this year’s event of AsoP Romania has as its object the amenity tree as a determining factor in the quality of the urban environment in which we live today.

The activities embedded by this conference aim to identify both specific problems and examples of good practice regarding the use of trees in cities. At the same time, the event aims to outline the necessary steps for the development of coherent green infrastructures in Romania, starting from the principles and standards used in the professional practice within the field.

AsoP Romania 2021 Conference program is embedding presentations made by specialists from the Romania and from abroad, and a debate in which representatives of the professional and academic environment from Romania will take part.

The AsoP 2021 Conference is addressing to professionals, students and academics from the landscape architecture field, to representatives of public administration, political domain and, at the same time, to all those interested in landscape architecture.

The Conference will be opened by Diana CULESCU, AsoP President and IFLA Europe Secretary General and Katerina GKOLTSIOU, IFLA Europe President and President of PHALA Greece with participation and contribution from Uta MUHLMANN-ZORZI, AIAPP Italy Delegate to IFLA Europe and Chair of IFLA Europe Med_net Working Group.
