Save the Date 9 December 2022 - IFLA Europe webinar on recognition of landscape architecture profession and update on Common Training Framework
This webinar is the continuation of the first online webinar held in March 2022 about the Recognition of landscape architecture profession in Europe.
At the webinar held in March 2022, Katerina Gkoltsiou, President of IFLA Europe, described the current context of the profession based on the results of IFLA Europe Survey, the countries where the profession is regulated or not, and pointed out the challenge of the poor recognition of the profession in terms of identification and scope of duties, struggling with encroaching on its competences by other professions.
It was concluded that a clear, European wide definition of competences would help, together with a good educational system. The roadmap should focus on a Common Training Framework which is under elaboration, combined with complains at national level to the European Commission or National Bodies.
The meeting on 9 December 2022 will focus more on the latest achievements of the Common Training Framework and feedback received from our Member Associations. It will also showcase best practice and an experience of non-regulated country.
The event will include debate and questions. The link and more detailed information will be sent shortly.
