Slovenian Association of Landscape Architects (SALA) marks World Landscape Architecture Month “Importance of Landscape Planning in Resolving Modern Crisis”

For the 14th year in a row, Slovenian Association of Landscape Architects (SALA) will commemorate the Month of Landscape Architecture by jointly organizing various events under the common title The Importance of Landscape Planning in Resolving Modern Crisis.

This year’s theme is focused on the climate and health crisis. Above all, SALA want to emphasize the importance of proper planning of public open spaces, their accessibility; raising the quality of living; draw attention to the positive effects of landscape planning for both human health and the health of the planet. We want to provide a diverse set of events, but due to the uncertain epidemiological situation, the events will take place outdoors or online or will be designed in such a way that they can be adapted. On the social platforms Instagram and Facebook, SALA will regularly publish short contributions or projects of SALA members.
