Attila is a landscape architect and planner based in Slovakia, currently working as Assistant Professor (PhD) at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. He studied landscape
architecture and planning in Slovakia and Austria and did research in Austria, Germany, New Zealand, Spain and Slovakia. Attila has been practicing landscape architecture in design, research and teaching since 2012. His main research focus is green infrastructure.
He received his PhD in 2015 after defending doctoral thesis on green infrastructure in rural landscapes. In his design practice, Attila focuses on public open spaces, especially parks, waterfronts and squares. His teaching portfolio includes mainly design studios, while applying the concept of research-led teaching and project-based learning.
