Didier Vancutsem
Biography
Didier Vancutsem holds Bachelor and Master degrees in City and Regional Planning,Landscape Architecture and Regional management, and is Assoc. Prof. at the Brussels University, Faculty of Architecture (ULB) / Belgium. Didier is based in Munich as planning office director of urban scape, and has gained professional experience globally in urban
innovation, land management, and elaboration of national and regional strategies for urban development. He is active as expert for the European Commission, UN Habitat and involved in European and international research projects. Didier served ISOCARP, the International Society of City and Regional Planners as Secretary General between 2013 and 2019, and is now Director of the ISOCARP Institute, its research branch.
