Karl Grimm
Biography
Karl Grimm studied landscape ecology and landscape design in Vienna. Since 1988, he has worked as a landscape architect and, since 1995, as a civil engineer for landscape planning specialising in park facilities and open spaces, stormwater management, the ecological improvement of water bodies, land management, and nature conservation. He is a lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna. He has designed pilot projects for rainwater management in Austria and has also authored studies and publications on this subject. Professional functions are on the executive board of the Vienna Chamber of Architects and Engineering Consultants, on the board of the Austrian Association for Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture (ÖGLA) and on the board of ÖGREEN, the Austrian Green Infrastructure Network.
