Biography
Maguelonne Déjeant-Pons is Doctor of Law and Lecturer at the University.
She was Executive Secretary of the Council of Europe Landscape Convention (2020-July 2022).
1978-1987: Practising lawyer and Lecturer at the University of Law and Institute of Political Sciences.
1987-2022: Council of Europe – Administrator at the European Court of Human Rights; Directorate of the Environment and Local Authorities; Convention on Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats; Head of Division : Environment and Sustainable Development (Pan-European Biological and Landscape Diversity Strategy; European Diploma of Protected Areas; Futuropa Magazine; Major Hazards); Secretary of the Council of Europe Steering Committee on Culture, Heritage and Landscape; Responsible of the European Heritage Days; Secretary of the European Conference of Ministers responsible for Spatial/Regional Planning.
She has published on landscape and sustainable development, natural and cultural heritage, human rights (Human Rights and the Environment), coastal and marine areas (La Méditerranée en droit international de l’environnement).
