Biography

Vainius Pilkauskas is a landscape architect, board member of Lithuanian Association of Landscape Architects LALA.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture (2007) and a Master of Architecture (2009) from Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology. After his studies, he gained professional experience working in architectural studios and internships abroad. He participates in project idea competitions and social activities.

Since 2013 he works in a private landscape architecture project studio as a project manager and author of landscape architecture projects, that combine functional solutions, aesthetic values, and existing natural conditions in order to create a sustainable environment and social well-being. He mainly designs urban spaces, residential and community center environments, transport infrastructure and landscaping projects, assessing, and unlocking the unique potential of a place.
