2021 CAT A - Bees, City and People
Bees are crucial pollinators and make an important contribution for food production and biodiversity. Without bees nearly 90% of the world population would starve. Bees are also the best indicator of a healthy environment. The number of bees is alarmingly low due to loss of flower meadows, climate change, and use of pesticides. It is urgent to provide a space where bees can thrive. Why not look for nature centred solutions on how to create a space, supporting bees and humans to coexist?
