Designing for a resilient urban landscape is about integrating change in human-shaped environments. Uncertain climatic economic trends put pressure on green spaces where value is becoming more important than ever. Programming space with a vegetation landscape rather than with hardscape would insure the resiliency of the area while enhancing the potential of the site for new uses. We think of green infrastructure as a possibility for softer program.
